PVA Surgical Foam Cutter. Custom medical packaging equipment for cutting surgical PVA foam - Polyvinyl Alcohol foam. This PVA Polyvinyl Alcohol foam medical product is used as surgical wipe.  After cutting the PVA foam, the machine would emboss a logo on the PVA foam.  The PVA foam surgical wipes  would be automatically counted to a specific number and then the machine would  band the cut pieces of surgical foam together and package the strips nto a poly bag. Packaging machine could cut out a small number of surgical wipe PVA foam, or could count up to 100 pieces.  After the predetermined amount of PVA foam was processed, they were automatically placed into poly bags on a roll.

• Feed pieces of foam from magazine and cut along “X” axis by traversing blade.

• Guillotine blade cuts individual pieces along “Y” axis.

• Individual pieces are embossed with company logo.

• Pieces are stacked and banded with polyester heat sealed band.

• Assembled stack is counted and placed in poly bag.

• Filled poly bag is heat sealed closed.
