For high volume catheter tipping and manufacturing applications, this two up catheter tipping machine produces two completed catheters per cycle. It has side by side dual pneumatic slides with independent operation. The catheter manufacturing machine has a split collect carriage. With a precision regulator/value feed system, each catheter has independent travel and depth control as well as independent processing. The catheter tipping machine has a sloped front for easy access to the catheter manufacturing work area.
In addition, a PLC stores 900 different catheter manufacturing programs. The operator picks out a catheter manufacturing program from a predetermined menu to tip a catheter. All catheter tipping machine operating parameters are out of the hands of the operator. Catheter manufacturing parameters such as timing, collect opening speeds, preheat, heat and cooling timing, are controlled by the PLC. Operator interface screen makes catheter tipping by this machine very worker friendly. Catheter automatic magazine loading and catheter part ejection is available.
Also available as options, a catheter drilling unit and a catheter eye cutting device. It is offered solid state power supply and is designed with retrofit catheter die capabilities.
